Talentbiz

The Brief: 

TALENTBIZ, organized by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (GIC/AHK Vietnam) and the German Business Association (GBA) created a recruitment platform for the German firms in Vietnam to develop potential talent. With Terraverde’s help, Talentbiz hosted the first German Job Fair in October 2015 which attracted more than 1,700 university students for job and internship opportunities. It was such a success that Talentbiz relaunched the event in 2017 with Terraverde as their event management company.

Execution:

We had a quick turnaround for this event, consulting with Talentbiz and designing this event for 1,700 expected guests with our partners and sponsors in under a month. Organizers included the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the Professional and Vocational Qualification for Germany and Alumni portal Deutschland, and among the sponsors were Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, BOSCH, Bayer and Saigon Times.
One of Terraverde’s areas of expertise is our ability to target our client’s audience successfully. With local Vietnamese youth in mind, we invited many celebrities to drum up interest and excitement among our student guests. We were honored to have Hariwon, FB Boiz, Only C, Xuan Lan, Viet My and Dual B with us. In addition, we also invited a well-known music band – The Lost Art – who was a huge success with the young crowd.. Besides the chance to land a job with a German company, the fair also offered discussion workshops on the expectations German and international companies have of young Vietnamese workers, German food tasting and the above-mentioned entertainment programs. Besides transforming the venue with numerous booths and signage and a state-of-the-art stage, we also setup a photo area and food court used during the three event days featuring popular Anre Maison, Phuc Long Coffee and Cube Coffee.
